Another serious problem I have with white people wearing dreadlocks is that Jamaican Rastafarians renounced Babylon (read: the white supremacist word/western civilization) and marked it as cruel and evil. They acknowledge that white people had made a world into something it had not been intended to be and the Rastafari movement was determined to empower people of color and help them recover their identities after centuries of displacement, colonialism and brainwashing. Rastafaris connect themself with Africa, their true homeland and African royalty and ethnicities play a huge role in their belief system. white people would never be able to understand that, not having experienced the degradation and dehumanization people of color have. All you dumbass appropriators practically worship all aspects of the western world, while claiming to be intellectuals and “anarchists”. Miss me with that shit.
